Family visit to @elitchgardens amusement park

Our daughter was so excited to visit Elitch Gardens because she is nine years old and is tall enough to enjoy some bigger rides. She really likes roller coasters and kept asking who will go with her on the rides. After we arrived, she found a roller coaster she wanted to ride called the Mind Eraser. It looked really fast and so I volunteered my hubby to go with her. After the ride, they looked really excited and my hubby said his legs were a little wobbly because the ride was so exhilarating. Later, I enjoyed some rides with her and we all had a blast! This is such a great amusement park for families and people of all ages.

The Best Place to Play Games in the Denver Metro area – #GAMEWORKS!

Screen Shot 2016-08-06 at 3.37.35 PM

Our family has gone to many different places that offers video games and other types of electronic entertainment in the Denver Metro area and other parts of the country, but we found our new favorite place to play the newest and latest video games and it’s called GAMEWORKS!  Earlier this week, I made plans to take visit GAMEWORKS with my eight-year old daughter and some of relatives.  Immediately after we arrived, we noticed they have over 160 video games and most of them we had never seen or played before.  They have video games you play to win tickets to buy prizes and other video games you play just for fun or to compete with your friends.

Also, GAMEWORKS has other areas to have fun with your friends and relatives, which includes laser tag (5,500 square feet – the largest in the Denver area), their eSports lounge to play LAN games solo or with others and party rooms for birthdays or other special gatherings.  We arrived around 1pm and had a great lunch before we played any games.  I was so amazed with their menu selection and how great their food tasted.  For example, the salmon I ordered was cooked perfectly, my daughter loved her chicken parmesan sandwich and we both really enjoyed their sampler appetizer.

Then, the game playing commenced!  It was hard to decide which video game to play first because there are so many new games to choose from.  I had fun watching my daughter play a crazy air hockey game that dumps dozens of different sizes of pucks to hit all at the same time.

For me, my video game favorite is shooting games and I found the most fun and addicting shooting game I’ve ever played there.  I’ve never played a video game for so long as this one.  Then, we played Laser Tag in their state-of-the-art arena that has two floors and so many places to hide and ambush the other team.

After Laser Tag, we visited the eSports arena which is something I’ve never seen before.  It’s a video game lounge with dozens of Xboxes and monitors so gamers can play on their own or with others in the room.  They also have several big screen TVs that are ideal for playing a video game with two people where they play against each other or as a team.  We were planning to stay for a couple of hours, buy we stayed into the night and had so much fun we can’t wait to go back.

We were so impressed with how helpful and friendly the staff was during our entire visit.

So, the next time you are looking for some fun playing games or need a place to have a special event like a birthday party, you need to check out GameWorks.com because you won’t believe how much fun you will have there with everything they have to offer!

Magical Family Night at the Melting Pot is a BLAST!!! @MeltingPotLittl

My family really enjoys eating out and attending special events, especially with our eight-year old daughter. Earlier this week, we attended the Magical Family Night at the Melting Pot in Littleton. This event not only included their well-known courses of fondue that includes the appetizer, to the main course and their incredible dessert, there was also a magician to entertain the guests. Not just any magician, but Dennis Michael, who performs around the entire country.

We were so amazed he came to every table and performed magic tricks and illusions for all of the guests. Our daughter loves magic and really had a blast watching and talking to the magician during his tricks.

She was so funny because she always tries to figure out the magic tricks and illusions. This event was great for everyone because people of all ages enjoy well-performed magic, especially when you have your own magic show at your table. Both the kids and adults in our group and at the other tables were all having a lot of fun. We would recommend to attend this event this summer before its too late.

The Feeling of Jumping at #Skyzone

The feeling of being suspended in the air is considered to be one of the most enjoyable activities kids can ever experience. That’s the very reason why the invention and popularity of the trampoline has taken place. We just visited Sky Zone Parker and this is a great place where anyone can jump as long as they want.  My family and I truly had a blast during our visit there.  Everyone was really nice, very accommodating and they have a very clean environment.

Screen Shot 2015-08-18 at 8.11.58 AMGroups of kids and even their adult companions can really enjoy the giant trampoline and have some amazing fun.  Team building, birthday parties and some fun-filled gatherings can be accommodated and you just can’t appreciate how much fun the kids have until you see it for yourself.  I highly suggest you check out the Sky Zone in your area and watch or take part in the enjoyment like our family did.  You can check out their Facebook page and get some updates about their latest promotions.

Now We Can Check Off Skydiving From Our Bucket List Thanks To iFly

For people like us who love adventure, skydiving is definitely on the top of our bucket list. However, fulfilling this is not that easy. Only a few places offer the experience and most of the time it is very expensive. Fortunately, a similar feeling and adrenaline rush can be felt by trying indoor skydiving.

We were provided several complimentary tickets from iFly Denver and of course we tried their famous iFly Indoor Skydiving. At first it looked a bit scary, but the instructors were professional and they were able to give all the necessary instructions accordingly. What’s more exciting in iFly is that all you need to do is to bring yourself and all other needed equipment is on them.

Age limit is also not a problem because the range is from 3-103. They may have some restrictions for those with previous shoulder or leg injuries, but the rest are allowed, even some with physical disabilities. Some of those who were also there to join us are professional skydivers with their trainees and according to them, the feeling is very similar. My family and I can now proudly say that the feeling of skydiving is checked from our list and it also provides anyone with a perfect way to prepare for the outdoor version.

The Awesome Slide the City Experience

Summer is here and everyone’s seems to be flocking to the beach, inland resorts or any place with all sorts of water adventures. For those who are living at the heart of the city, these places aren’t easily accessible and most of the time are costly. However, a whole new fun-filled experience for the entire family has come recently to Boulder, Colorado. My family and I were able to received complimentary tickets last July 18.

They called it Slide the City because a long slide several block long is set-up on the ground and with your pool outfit and other water gear, you get to slide all the way to the end for as long as you want. It’s a slide with no pool at the end, yet you get to experience all the splashing you want on the way down. It’s great for all ages so for me and my husband we were excited to give it a try.

It has absolutely redefined summer and family fun without having to travel to travel out of state. It was definitely an unforgettable experience worth repeating. We saw so many groups of people of all ages having a blast before, during and after experiencing the really fun slide. Music is one thing that is important for kids. One avenue that kids learn music is through nursery rhymes. Laura Berkner has not only made this possible, but her compositions are so entertaining because they are easy to remember and enjoyable to sing. My daughter and I seem to have developed the “last song syndrome” singing the same song over and over again. We are a big fan of Laura Berkner and I was so glad to have been given the opportunity to watch her live concert. It was an amazing fun family concert that we all enjoyed.

My daughter was having such a blast watching and singing with each of her songs she sang during her concert. You can catch her live concert this summer and later this year and even up until April of next year. Watch the videos on Youtube and you will see what I mean.

Texas Gives You SeaWorld Attractions

I received complimentary tickets for reviewing purposes only. All written content is 100% original.

Where can you go in Texas that will be a memorable visit for years to come? Visit SeaWorld San Antonio and it will take you more than a day just to go to all the attractions and shows. Experience the nature of the sea and actually hold some of them.

Thankfully, I received complimentary tickets so I was able to enjoy this part of the ‘world of the sea’ with my family! We were ready to get wet! Rio Loco was really fun when our circular raft was going everywhere while being sprayed by a waterfall. We got wet and were a little scared, but that was part of the fun. The Shamu Express is a ride that children that need to be at least 38 inches tall to safely enjoy and it’s a great ride for adults, too! It’s not scary at all, but thrilling enough.  Azul is exciting because we saw their dolphins and colorful birds following the staff’s commands for acrobatic performances up close.  The Journey to Atlantis was really exciting for me, especially when I was able to experience getting wet (but not real wet). If you want to get wet, check the Insider Tips under this particular attraction online.  There are many more attractions although the Sharks/Coral Reef was closed for construction during our visit. Boardwalk Games, however, is great for the whole family because anyone can play arcade to hi-tech video and adventure games. It’s possible to win some prizes, too! Don’t forget the Sesame Street Bay of Play, especially if you have kids visiting with you!

Snowmobiling to the Continental Divide was a Blast!

It was one of the best adventures my hubby and I have experienced, snowmobiling to the Continental Divide! He drove while I enjoyed being the passenger. (Thanks for the complimentary tickets that made this adventure possible!) At first I was a little scared knowing that we were going to go up to 12,000 feet with views of the entire Winter Park Ski area, but it also got me excited because no other park offers this kind of adventure and I was just glad I did not chicken out.

Actually, the two hour Continental Divide tour can be enjoyed by both the intermediate rider and the beginner rider as well. This is a guided tour, but you can also go without a guide if you are apt to do so. Even kids can spend two hours having a blast during this adventure since they are allowed, although they also offer one-hour adventure tours with the younger kids in mind. This was one of the most memorable days of my life, especially when we reached the top of them mountain and took some incredible pictures.

Our tour guide was a lot of fun and stressed safety a lot, so we were not concerned about anything except enjoying the great views and the fun of being on a snowmobile for the first time. My hubby said he had a great time and the snowmobile was very easy to drive. I have been to many places around the United States, but this snowmobile adventure in Winter Park, Colorado was one of the best we can remember. I saw natural beauty from the top while my feet still touched the earth. Check out GrandAdventures.com and plan your own family snowmobile excursion before the winter season is over!
